Dartmouth General Hospital

I wouldn't send my dog to Dartmouth General. They break patients rights constantly. Watch the movie one who flew over cuckoo nest and you'll know what this hospital is about. Btw don't trip over the mice when you there, they run rampid.

I went to try to get a cotton swab out of my ear and they gave me a 9hr wait time. As a person with anxiety I could not stay and listen to people cough and hack all in the hospital. Something needs to change.

It is unfortunate you can’t give zero stars. Went to emergency with a kidney stone and throwing up from the pain. Waited 8.5 hours to get out of the lobby waiting room. Another hour inside before seeing the only doctor working that day. The nurses were the most ignorant incompetent I have ever dealt with. This hospital emergency department is worse than in a 3rd world country. The nurses and whoever runs this department should be ashamed of themselves for how people are treated here.

I had my first mammogram here this week. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. A HUGE shout out to the woman that did my mammogram. She was kind and understanding. She put me at ease and gave me some really helpful information. She made the appointment somewhat enjoyable.

Amazing people! Dr Arsenault (Kory) truly cares for his patients and has so much respect for his nurses. He has been my ER Dr when I needed the greatest care. He is an amazing Dr and person. Be kind to them and smile. You never know what they are going through. My nurse was so sweet. There are a few tired staff members, but I praise everyone there for staying with it and doing the best they can. Thanks for the continual utmost care that I receive. Five stars from me! They were all great with me! No long waits for anything! all nurses in my unit were awesome (day surgery) they anwsered all my questions very patient with Me I felt cared for going in i was very nervous and self conscious they changed that thank you to the staff there and especially my great doctor Dr Vair!

4x went there complaining of severe chest pains shortness of breath pain up side of neck from chest. 4th time I was told “you can’t keep coming in here with these chest pains there’s nothing wrong with you”5th time I was admitted to ICU & had Heart Surgery the next am at QEII where they inserted 2 stents into my heart !!I SUFFERED FOR 7 mOS IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN unable to even go outside due to lack of breath or even get up the stairs to my apt.Shame on you ! You almost killed me !

this is the WORST place to go if you have a medical emergency or are sick, the ER nurses are nice, but that is about it, i went into the ER here 3 times, once because i could not breathe and was having severe chest pains and i was made to sit in the waiting room unable to breathe properly and crying for 8 hours. secondly, my father has stage 4 cancer and is EXTREMLEY immunocompromised, and they thought it would be a fantastic idea to put my poor father (with an infection already) in a room with an extremely contagious man who then got my dad even more sick. and then the third instance i went with a severe head injury from falling and i was brought there by my spouse who also had to speak for me because 9i could not remember anything nor could i speak well. and i sat there in the waiting room for 6 hours with a head injury and slurred speech, honestly i value my life and don't want to end up dead due to medical negligence so i will never be going there again.

The nurses are so rude.. they got sick people in beds just laying everywhere.. and they don’t even know who is even in their ICU units I came here to visit my dad after rushing him to the hospital while he’s about to have another heart attack, then later came to visit him later that night and the nurses don’t even know who I’m asking for.. there is literally two people in the ICU and they don’t even know who I am asking for.. and having to deal with their rotten attitude because “oh you showed up during our report time so you need to wait 30 minutes before seeing him” oh my bad I’m sorry to inconvenience you? I just did all the things to make sure he doesn’t die and now I have to watch you sit at your desk drinking coffee ok.. sorry to disturb your break time. My goodness
